(F)Oh, what I would do to have the (Dm7)kind of faith it takes to climb out of this (Bb)boat I’m in, with just a (Eb)on to the crash (Bb)ing waves, to (F)step out of my com fort a zone sand (Dm7)in to the realm of the un known where (Bb)Je sus is,

wish and He’s (Eb)hold ing out His (Bb)hand.

But the (Bb)waves are call ing out my name and they (F)laugh at me,

re (Bb)mind ing me of all the times I’ve (F)tried be fore and failed.

The (Bb)waves they keep on tell ing me time and (C)time a (Dm)gain, “Boy, you’ll (Bb)nev er win.

You’ll (C)nev er win.”

But the voice of (C)truth tells me a dif f’rent (Dm)sto ry.

The voice of (Bbsus2)truth says, “Do not be a fraid.”

And the voice of (C)truth says, “This is for My (Dm)glo ry.” Out of all the voic es (Bbsus2)call ing out to me,

I will choose to (Bbsus2)lis ten and be lieve the voice of (Fsus2)truth.

But the (Bb)gi ant’s call ing out my name and he (F)laughs at me,

And the waves, they don’t seem (Ebsus)so high from on (Eb)top of them look ing down.

I will soar with the wings of (Ebsus)ea gles (Eb)when I stop and (Bbm7)lis ten to the sound of Je sus sing ing (C5)o ver (F)me.
