Flappy Piano turns a first piano lesson into something a child will do on their own, twice, without being asked.
Reading music and pressing keys at the same time is two skills at once. We separate them. The notes arrive on screen where a child already looks, so the only job left is timing. Notation comes later, once the hands are confident.
Every song has a printable sheet and a MIDI file, so what your child learns here transfers to a teacher, a school lesson, or a real piano. No ads, no chat, no leaderboard. Ten minutes a day is the whole plan.
Quick and light. Quill flies the top staff and carries the melody.
Heavier and steady. Thump flies the bottom staff and holds the beat.
Five to twelve. Younger children usually need an adult sitting alongside for the first few songs.
No. A cheap keyboard works, and so does the on-screen keyboard on a tablet. A weighted piano is better once the songs get past level 3.
Gradually. The falling notes sit on a real staff with real note names, and every song ships with a printed score, so notation stops looking foreign long before it has to be studied.
